Leviticus 15-18

Leviticus 15-18

I will update later but I don’t want to leave you all like I did yesterday with nothing here to write on.  Leave your comments and thoughts and, as soon as I get home tonight, I will be catching up on my reading and posting…well, as soon as I make dinner and feed my husband that is.

Please, start the conversation without me!

  1. I missed reading yesterday myself, Jenni. We are still looking at the different sacrifices, and how one became unclean and the clean again. I found it interesting that after having a son a woman was unclean 33 days, but after having a daughter, she was unclean 66 days. Many of the clean/unclean laws were for the protection of the people's health. It kept disease down. Just think how much less flu and colds we would have it a person had to isolate themselves for 7 - 10 days if they have a cold or flu symptoms. Then have to wash themselves before they could be around anyone else. What came to mind when I read about the mold and mildew on clothing and/or homes was that God was also speaking of our lives. If there is the stain of sin (mold or mildew) in our lives (houses) then we need to isolate it, make sure it dies and is cut or scraped off and washed clean. Of course we know that the Blood Of Jesus is the only thing that will remove the stain of sin.
