Ida had mentioned and, seeing as how I was getting ready to write this post as I was looking at her comments, I completely agree that we should also have some resources for those who may not have a Bible at home. This would, of course, be some on-line options.
This way, anyone can join us on any given day.
When contemplating this at first I considered just copying each reading into a blog post; however, I am thinking that it might be too much on this blog. What do you think?
So, I have added a section on the sidebar that are links to four different sites I have found that you can read the full Bible on-line.
http://www.biblegateway.com/ This is probably my favorite of the four because it seems to have the most options in the various translations and is somewhat easy to navigate through the different passages. The font is easy to read as well.
http://www.readbibleonline.new/ This is easily my second favorite, pretty close to my first, because it is very easy to jump between the various books and the chapters. It's as easy as clicking on the book name and the chapter. Where it falls from the favorites is only one thing: It is only ONE translations; although it is the Standard American Translation so it is up there in preferences.
www.bibleontheweb.com/Bible.asp This one feels like you are reading a book because of the look to it. It only has three translations, but it is worth checking out. The three translations are: King James, Revised Standard (I'm assuming, but don't know for sure, that this is the American Standard), and Darby (one that I am completely unfamiliar with). It's charm is that it truly looks like a book and, if you are familiar with eReaders, you will enjoy the look and feel of this version.
bibleresources.bible.com/passagesearch.php This one has inumerable options to choose from the various translations and even has some translations in different languages. It isn't quite as easy to navigate, but it is still a great place to be able to read Bible passages.
Those are the best four that I have found, does anyone else have any on-line resources?
What do you think about having the selected reading posted daily? Would it be too much or does it make sense?

FYI, The Revised Standard Version (RSV) is an English translation of the Bible published in the mid-20th century. It traces its history to William Tyndale's New Testament translation of 1525. The RSV is an authorized revision of the American Standard Version (ASV) of 1901. Now you know.
